Engineer to design, develop and validate structural components for passenger trucks and vehicles. Looking for innovative problem solvers with ability to manage complex systems and components, design for efficiency and validate using engineering tools and knowledge. Talent to be able to understand and develop complex systems and balance deliverables to make most cost/weight effective and functional proposals for underbody components. This position is a salary grade 6-8 and ranges from $74,300 - $166,200. Responsible for overall design leadership to meet vehicle attributes including package, crash, durability, commercial upfitting, and thermal management Responsible to lead, review, and approve, Frame Structure designs to ensure delivery to component ES, and vehicle requirements Responsible to resolve all durability, assembly, and functional issues identified Coach, technical mentor, and guide peer engineers with regular information exchange through Technical Club forums.
