Job Description As a Security Officer Screening Operations in Concord, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $15.50 / Hour Job Schedule Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location. Screen individuals, bags, packages, and/or equipment entering designated areas in accordance with site protocols, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or access concerns to the appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed. Monitor entry points, visitor processing activities, and credential verification procedures to help support authorized access within a fast-paced technology, media, and telecommunications location. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting conditions that may impact daily operations and reporting maintenance, access control, and/or security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements Be at least 21 years of age. CPR certification is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
