Human Resource Intern

Employee Type: Part-Time Non-Exempt Key job tasks Assist with managing HR Information Systems (HRIS). Assist Human Resource Generalist in company established hiring process. Assist in compensation and benefits administration and recordkeeping. Assist with data collection and tracking. Any other task pertaining to the job as may be assigned by Management. Physical and Mental Demands Regular and punctual attendance. Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift, carry, move, push and/or pull up to 20 pounds. Ability to remain stable when bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting, carrying, reaching, standing, moving, and/or positioning one’s self. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to see and hear, with or without correction. Dexterity of hands and fingers required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Required Qualifications Currently enrolled in a College or University focusing in business or human resources. Good written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills. Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize work to meet deadlines. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Reporting and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Currently enrolled in a College or University perusing a degree in HR or related field. Previous experience with document control. General of employment laws. Previous full life cycle recruiting experience. Summary The Human Resources Intern supports and concentrates on the day-to-day operations of the Company’s human resources functions.
