Treasurer

Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in school finance administration, including Treasurer's office experience. (A minimum of five years as an Assistant Treasurer or in a comparable fiscal leadership role preferred) Thorough understanding of public school operations, finance systems, and the unique fiscal responsibilities associated with educational institutions Proven record of conservative and fiscally responsible financial management, with a strong commitment to stewardship of districts resources Experience with school levy campaigns, bond issues, and advocacy for public school funding at the local and state levels Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, initiate, follow through on multiple complex tasks and deadlines Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively and constructively with staff, community members, businesses, government entities, and other district stakeholders Effective communicator who demonstrates user-friendly, professional, and transparent communication with diverse audiences High degree of integrity, professionalism, and sound judgement in all matters Ability to navigate conflict, make difficult decisions when necessary, and remain composed, patient, resilient under pressure
