Express in Twinsburg Oh is looking for a CNC Saw Operator in Streetsboro, OH

Pay Rate: $20-$21/HR


Shift: 1st and 2nd Shift

Position Description: CNC Saw Operator
The CNC Saw Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC saw equipment to accurately cut metal, plastic, or other materials according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and production requirements. This position ensures quality standards, safety procedures, and production goals are consistently met while maintaining an organized work environment.


Primary Duties
• Set up and operate CNC saws and related cutting equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, drawings, and specifications.
• Measure and verify material dimensions using calipers, tape measures, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Load raw materials into machines and ensure proper material identification.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and productivity.
• Inspect finished materials to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues to maintenance personnel.
• Maintain accurate production records and material usage documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
• Keep work area clean and organized using 5S and lean manufacturing principles.
• Assist with inventory counts and material movement as needed.
• Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve manufacturing issues.


Experience & Skills:
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience operating CNC saws or similar manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Experience in a machine, fabrication, or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of CNC machine operation and programming fundamentals.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving fractions, decimals, and measurements.
• Proficiency with measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot machines and material issues.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
