Job Summary Registered Nurse (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) positions are available in the Crisis Stabilization Unit at the Center for Human Development in Chicopee, MA. These full‑time and part‑time roles provide critical care to adults and teens during their most vulnerable moments. Responsibilities Collaborate with nurses, physicians, advanced practice nurses, psychologists, social workers, or other professionals Collaborate with guardians, relatives, and significant others of people served when clinically indicated Document assessments and treatments in the electronic health record Monitor vital signs Assess signs of substance withdrawal and complete standardized assessment tools such as the Clinical Opioid Withdrawal Scale (COWS), CIWA, CIWAb Fill physician orders administer medications Engage in medication reconciliation process Coordinate medical care Contribute to comprehensive assessments Provide brief crisis counseling Develop individualized crisis prevention planning Provide psychoeducation Assist with discharge planning and care coordination Pay and Schedule RN pay rate: $45.00 per hour LPN pay rate: $36.50 per hour Schedules: part‑time days, part‑time and full‑time evenings available; must be able to work every other weekend Benefits A comprehensive benefit package that includes dental, health and life insurance, a flexible schedule, paid time off, earned vacation time, and paid holidays.
