Senior Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $110,000 to $150,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities and prepare accurate financial statements in line with US GAAP.
• Draft technical accounting memos and coordinate external audit requests through timely documentation and responses.
• Own the budgeting process by partnering with departments, consolidating plans, and explaining variances to plan.
• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate investments, revenue scenarios, and capital allocation options.
• Use enterprise accounting systems to optimize workflows, manage integrations, and maintain reliable financial data.

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles.
• Strong command of US GAAP with a track record of accurate reporting and compliance.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to create and maintain complex financial models.
• Experience working in an ERP environment and comfort administering system workflows and integrations.
• Background in financial services or related industries.
