We look forward to meeting you!As a Medical Assistant, you would balance the needs of patients and maintain efficient work flow of the office as well as provide support to the physician in all facets of medical procedures – before during and after. In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.Position Details:Location: This is a float role, candidate must be able to commute to clinics based in the Bronx / Yonkers (Will review clinics during the interview)Schedule: Full-time, hours vary between 7am-7pm; must be able to work weekends.This position requires to be National Registered / Certified Medical Assistant.Spanish and English speaking required.Compensation: $20-$25/hr.Key Responsibilities:Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience.Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR).Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification.Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems.Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable.
