Radiologic Technologist – Radiographer | Travel Contract

Location: Bronx, NY

Duration: 14 Weeks

Shift: Night Shift | 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM

Hours: 37.5–40 Hours Per Week

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures for inpatient and outpatient populations.

• Operate and maintain radiology equipment safely and accurately.

• Position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.

• Follow radiation safety protocols and imaging department standards.

• Document procedures accurately in the electronic medical record system.

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support diagnostic and treatment decisions.

• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality.

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced overnight imaging environment.

• Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as required.

• Assist with imaging equipment maintenance and departmental workflow.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of General Radiographer experience.

• Completion of an approved Radiologic Technologist training program.

• Current ARRT certification and registration required.

• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License required.

• Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures and radiation safety practices.

• Ability to work full-time night shifts.

• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

• Strong attention to detail and patient care skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
