Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students as a School Speech-Language Pathologist. This opportunity is for the 2026/2027 academic year, working onsite with a welcoming K-12 population. Two positions are available, offering you the chance to make a lasting difference in a vibrant educational environment near Stuart, FL.
Use your expertise with children and adolescents to help students develop essential communication and language skills. This role is ideal for professionals with a passion for collaborative, student-centered practice. Whether you bring experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist-CCC or are a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate ready to advance your career, your dedication will be valued here.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Hold or eligible for SLP-CCC or CFY designation
- Valid state licensure for practice in school settings
- Previous experience or strong interest in serving diverse K-12 caseloads
- Excellent interpersonal skills and professional communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families in an educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and therapy for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain clear, timely documentation and progress reports
- Support the development of communication skills to enhance students’ academic and social success
