Clinical Nutrition Manager III

Role Overview Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a Clinical Nutrition Manager III position at Bridgeport Hospital in Bridgeport, CT. This 400-bed Level 2 Trauma Center and teaching hospitalis part of the Yale New Haven Health System. Bridgeport Hospital also has Connecticut's only Burn center. What You'll Do manage the clinical nutrition program for three sites within the Yale New Haven Medical Center; supervise a team of 11 Registered Dietitians and 15 diet office staff; drive Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects; oversee rollout of department programs and initiatives; provide training and education to the food service staff, as well as interdisciplinary healthcare professionals; be the primary liaison with medical and nursing staff and represent the department on hospital wide committees; and serve in a leadership role on the Food and Nutrition Services team and assist in food service management as needed. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
