Work Environment

This position is strictly onsite, allowing you to work directly in the homes and communities of our patients. We aim for a collaborative team approach, where you will join a group of skilled professionals, including two physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA). Key Responsibilities

• Assess and fulfill the personalized goals and needs of each patient, ensuring tailored treatment plans.
• Maintain a manageable patient load of one patient per hour, allowing for focused and individualized care.
• Implement effective, cost-efficient non-surgical treatment modalities to improve patients' mobility.
• Craft and execute comprehensive care plans, utilizing a variety of techniques and therapies.
• Minimize reliance on medications by incorporating alternative therapies and non-invasive solutions.
• Guide and motivate patients through their interventions, promoting engagement and adherence to therapy.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately, ensuring continuity of care.
• Evaluate treatment effects consistently and adapt approaches based on response and recovery.
• Collaborate with additional healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care strategies.
• Promote a holistic approach to wellness, focusing on enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve patients with orthopedic conditions, including those recovering from surgeries and injuries. Our clientele includes individuals with private medical insurance, providing you the opportunity to work closely with motivated patients dedicated to their recovery journey. Your role will significantly impact their rehabilitation, enabling them to regain independence and improve overall functionality.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required for this position.
• Two years of relevant experience in orthopedic outpatient care is mandatory.
• An active Physical Therapist license in California, with no reported disciplinary actions.
• Exceptional manual therapy skills are necessary for effective treatment.
• A strong proficiency in developing exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience with EMR software, particularly WebPT, is a plus.

Preferred Experience

While two years of experience is mandatory, candidates with prior exposure to home care environments, telehealth practices, or advanced rehabilitative techniques will be preferred. Experience working with diverse patient groups will also be an asset in ensuring effective communication and personalized care.

Compensation and Benefits
