About the Job Job Title: Leasing Consultant Job Location: Candlewyck Apartments (100 East Candlewyck Drive, Kalamazoo, MI 49001) Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Leasing Consultant to join our team on a Full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for leasing activities, client interactions, and property management. Responsibilities:
- Present apartments, houses, or other properties to prospective clients in a persuasive manner.
- Assist residential landlords in discovering suitable tenants.
- Promote unoccupied properties through various media and advertising techniques.
- Evaluate clients' requirements and financial capacity to create personalized presentations.
- Provide accurate information on property features.
- Validate application information and references.
- Negotiate leasing terms and complete agreements.
- Stay informed about the property market status.
- Conduct periodic property inspections and ensure proper maintenance.
- Proven working experience as a leasing consultant.
- Good knowledge of leasing rules and regulations.
- Demonstrated track record of successful sales.
- Proficiency in YARDI software is essential. Basic understanding of MS Office.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with marketing and sales techniques.
- Customer-focused approach.
- Hourly pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour.

- M-F (9AM - 6PM) - On-Site.
- Property leasing: 1 year (Required).
- Yardi: 1 year (Required).
