Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed - Mornings in Phoenix, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail distribution center, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur05:00 AM - 01:00 PMFri05:00 AM - 01:00 PMSat05:00 AM - 01:00 PMSun05:00 AM - 01:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related responsibilities at a retail distribution location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location by observing personnel, visitors, and vehicle traffic; verify credentials and direct individuals according to site procedures. Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client contacts. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
