About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Columbia, South Carolina, 29220!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Long-Term Acute Care Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years in Medical/Surgical Telemetry required License: Valid Nursing License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: LTAC experience preferred, neuro experience needed Description: 36 hours or 48 hours per week available. Two years of Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience is required. Experience in Long-Term Acute Care preferred. Complex wound care skills are necessary. Ability to interpret dysrhythmias is required. Experience managing dysrhythmias is necessary. Tracheostomy care and management required. There will be coverage by call that rotates among staff members. Staff will be called after 5 PM daily and weekends. Travelers are required to float to other units as needed. Documented competencies for floating are required. Pre-assignment testing and modules must be completed. EMR experience with a minimum of one year is required. Staff will not float to units unless they are qualified. Modules are billable, up to 16 hours, and must be completed prior to starting. Travelers must be 100 miles from any affiliated facility to be eligible.
