The role involves managing patient care for individuals post-operative spinal surgeries. Candidates must have experience in orthopedic nursing. A patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5-6 is expected. The unit cares for a diverse patient population, including those with medical/surgical, cardiac, and neurological diagnoses. Special procedures performed in this unit include bedside lumbar punctures and post-surgical care. Floating to other units may be required based on patient needs. Our team includes a range of interdisciplinary support services to enhance patient care. Nursing staff will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. A commitment to high standards of patient care and teamwork is essential.
