This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney interested in sophisticated transactional and regulatory work.Responsibilities:Advise health care providers, suppliers, and emerging companies on complex transactional, business, and regulatory mattersSupport significant transactions and analyze complex regulatory requirements and provide clear, practical, and actionable legal guidanceDraft legal analyses, agreements, and other transactional documentsDevelop a strong understanding of clients' operations, business objectives, and strategic goalsCollaborate with attorneys across health care specialties, including fraud and abuse, licensing and certification, and reimbursement mattersAssist clients navigating evolving health care regulations and industry developmentsBuild substantive expertise in health care law through meaningful client work and mentorshipQualifications:J.D. from an accredited law schoolActive California Bar admission requiredJunior to mid-level associate experienceExperience working with complex regulatory frameworks and/or significant transactional mattersStrong legal research, analytical, drafting, and communication skillsAbility to translate complex legal issues into concise and practical advice for clientsStrong interest in health care law and the business of health careCollaborative, client-focused approachCompensation & Benefits:Base Salary: $225,000–$370,000, commensurate with experience and qualificationsComprehensive benefits packageDiscretionary bonus opportunitiesSignificant remote flexibilityMeaningful mentorship and professional developmentOpportunities to develop deep substantive expertise in health care lawBillable-hour credit available for qualifying pro bono and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
