Shipping/Receiving Operator I Title: Shipping/Receiving Operator I Location: Sauk Rapids, MN Salary: $22.95 - 27.00 per hour (non‑exempt) Shift Schedule: 1st shift Monday – Friday 7am – 3pm Shift Differential: 1st shift - N/A Responsibilities Use a crane, hoist, forklift, or other material handling equipment to transport materials and products into and out of the work area as required. Package, band, or shrink-wrap products or loads. Efficiently load and unload finished products on trucks. Follow customer shipping specifications and standard work. Inspect material handling equipment and lifting devices. Verify and count parts moved to match paperwork for inventory accuracy. Maintain accurate inventory of shipping materials. Interpret blueprints, BOL, and other necessary documents to identify parts. Collaborate with other members of the shipping process. Utilize ERP software to understand the status of jobs and materials moving through the manufacturing process. Inspect deliveries and accurately log documentation. Gather, pick, and assemble products on load lists. Put product away in designated areas. Keep area organized and maintain 5S guidelines. Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing environment. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to accurately use tape measure and precision measuring devices. Computer literate, particularly in word processing, spreadsheets, email, shop floor control, production planning, and inventory control applications. Ability to perform basic shop math functions. Ability to read and understand required internal manufacturing paperwork. Ability to electronically record production information. Ability to work independently using standardized practices and/or procedures, and with others as part of a high-performance team. Adapt to changing work priorities. Strong attention to detail and organization skills. Physical Demands This position requires the individual to wear and work in company-provided personal protective equipment (PPE). The individual must lift a minimum of 50 lbs and, if applicable, maneuver large, cumbersome equipment with the use of an overhead crane and/or forklift. They must also be able to work in, on, or around equipment and machinery and may need to perform work with the use of ladders.
