Help Desk Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Help Desk Technician II to provide advanced technical support in a Microsoft-centric environment supporting approximately 300 end users. This role goes beyond basic password resets and troubleshooting, requiring strong analytical skills to diagnose complex hardware, software, systems, and connectivity issues. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary escalation point for complex Tier 2 and Tier 3 support issues involving desktops, laptops, applications, mobile devices, and network connectivity. Install, configure, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows-based workstations, peripheral devices, and associated software. Diagnose and resolve advanced Microsoft 365, Outlook, Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint support issues. Administer and support Active Directory user accounts, permissions, security groups, Group Policy, and Azure AD/Microsoft Entra ID. Troubleshoot identity and access management issues, including SSO, MFA, conditional access, and account synchronization. Support endpoint management technologies and software deployment processes. Investigate and resolve hardware failures, operating system issues, application conflicts, and performance-related problems. Manage onboarding and offboarding activities, including account provisioning, device deployment, software assignments, and security access management. Perform root-cause analysis on recurring technical issues and recommend long-term solutions. Support and maintain printers, conference room technology, mobile devices, and other end-user technologies. Collaborate with network, security, and infrastructure teams to resolve escalated incidents and implement system improvements. Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and technical procedures within the ITSM platform. Coordinate vendor support for warranty repairs, advanced troubleshooting, and equipment replacement. Participate in workstation refresh projects, software deployments, migrations, and technology rollouts. Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in a Help Desk, Desktop Support, or IT Support environment. Strong experience supporting Microsoft Windows 10/11 environments. Hands-on experience with: Microsoft 365 (O365), Active Directory, Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, operating system, and user-access issues. Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN connectivity, and basic networking concepts. Experience using ticketing systems and following ITIL-based support processes.
