Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR. Must be able to work holidays possibly of taking care of COVID patients. Traveler will be assigned to an Inclement Weather Team.

Job Details: Target Ratios: 1:6 Shift: 12HR NIGHTS; 18:45 - 07:15*36 or 48 hours accepted. If 48, then no OT billed until after 48 hours. Charge role is preferred for night travelers. 13-26 weeks accepted RTO: 7 days MAX For AYA AUTO OFFER Call Requirement: Call required if put on call prescheduled shift. Float Requirement: Floating to similar units and alternate care locations with inpatients holding. Weekend Requirement: Traveler will be assigned to every other weekend Must be able to work holidays possibly of taking care of COVID patients. Traveler will be assigned to an Inclement Weather Team. Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.

Patient Diagnoses: Adults and geriatrics. General Med/Surg Patients. Daily census ~43.

Special Procedures / Unit Details: Heparin Drips Wound Vac Drsg Changes High Flow Oxygen We occasionally have limited short term BiPap with respiratory support. No additional training needed. Appropriate for all med/surg nurses. No PCU level patients on this unit.

Special Equipment: Must have a teamwork approach and meet Novant behavioral expectations in all interactions with patients and staff. Must be able to adhere to Call off policy -STRONGLY ENFORCED.

Submission Process: All units are utilizing Clinical for direct profile review Submission Details: Former Novant/New Hanover employees (PERM/PRN/EP) must wait 12 months before applying. Disclosure required (with hospital name/dates employed) at submission; facility approval needed. Current travel Per Diem clinicians aren't eligible for travel contracts they must choose one. Include status and intent in the submission. Local candidates ( 50 miles): Lower rate applies. RTO: Up to 7 days auto approved (no holidays). Must work 2 of 3 major holidays. No RTO during first week. All RTO must be pre-approved. Cannot request additional RTO after signing. NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal. Floating: Candidates must be open to floating within/near facility per job description. Travel pairs: Allowed (must be on different units and disclosed). Charting: See job description. References can be pending at submission. Modules: Pre-start modules are non-billable, time spent on modules should be margined separately from orientation hours. Acute Care: ~8-10 hours of modules Non-Acute: ~4-5 hours of modules Must be completed pre-start and annually (varies by specialty) Conducted online - must use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge as your browser
