Senior Billing Specialist for a Busy Infertility Practice -ONSITE

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to join our busy infertility practice. The ideal candidate is preferred to have billing experience in women's health care. This role requires strong knowledge of medical billing workflows, insurance follow-up, denial management, payment posting, claims resolution, and patient account management specific to women’s health. Key Responsibilities Submit clean claims accurately and timely through our EMR system Review and resolve claim rejections and denials across all insurance platforms Follow up with insurance companies on unpaid claims Post insurance and patient payments accurately in our EMR system Work aging reports and outstanding AR Review patient accounts for billing accuracy and follow-up needs Handle billing corrections, resubmissions, and appeals Communicate with registration/front desk, clinical staff, and management to resolve billing issues Maintain compliance with payer rules and billing regulations Help improve collections, reduce denials, and optimize overall revenue cycle performance Qualifications Minimum [3] years of medical billing experience in women’s health care insurance claim submission and follow-ups Denial management and appeals Payment posting Patient balances and account review Eligibility and benefits verification OB/Gyn coding and billing workflows Understanding of commercial insurance Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding relevant to OB/GYN Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced practice Global billing Gynecologic procedures Surgical claims Ultrasound and in-office procedures Familiarity with prior authorizations, claim edits, and payer-specific billing requirements Knowledge of Infertility a plus Knowledge of using Insurance platforms such as Availty, UHC, Cigna, and more eIVF emr knowledge a plus Skills and Attributes Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Strong problem-solving and follow-through Professional communication skills Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times Strong knowledge of OB/GYN or Infertility billing Knowledge of using Insurance platforms such as Availty, UHC, Cigna, and more eIVF emr knowledge a plus Compensation package Competitive pay based on experience Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Retirement plans #J-18808-Ljbffr DaMar Staffing
