As an ASL paraprofessional, you'll serve as a crucial communication partner, providing both instructional and classroom support. Your skills will help foster inclusion, understanding, and academic success for students who use sign language as their primary mode of communication.

What we’re seeking:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting
• Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) is required
• Professional, adaptable, and compassionate communication style
• Ability to work closely with teachers, support staff, and students
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and a positive learning environment
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are an advantage

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting instructional activities for students using ASL
• Assisting the classroom teacher with daily tasks and lesson implementation
• Facilitating understanding and communication between students and staff
• Helping with classroom management and reinforcing learning objectives
• Providing one-on-one or small group assistance as needed
• Monitoring student progress and reporting feedback to educational team
