Customer Service - Construction & Stone Fabrication

Stonecrafters, Inc. is an established Granite and Marble Fabricator in the northwest suburbs with a reputation for integrity, quality and responsive service. We offer a casual work environment. We have fun while taking service to customers very seriously.

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Rep to join our team that works with both commercial and residential building and remodeling projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

Position Responsibilities / Duties

• Answer telephones and handle requests.

• Assist and educate customers about our process of stone fabrication and installation.

• Preparation of contracts and job folders for customers.

• Learn and become proficient in using estimating software including accurate data entry.

• Assertive follow up on project details to assure timely project flow.

• Telephone follow-up on previously submitted proposals.

• Maintaining comprehensive, organized customer files.

• Maintain accuracy in data entry.

• Provide remedies and solutions to customer issues.

•Order materials as needed

• Timely preparation of sale agreements

• Assure satisfaction of both internal and external customers in all company dealings.

• Communication of incoming materials delivery activity.

•Assist other departments as needed.

Qualifications:

• 2 years’ experience with construction-related Service and Sales.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Some evenings and Saturdays required.

Skills and Attributes:

• Ability to read and interpret dimensional drawings of project requirements

• Detail orientated, well organized.

• Strong Customer Relations skills

• Ability to multi-task and work with interruptions

• Microsoft Office Proficiently

• Creative problem solver in a fast-paced environment

• Computer proficiency with an ability to adapt to new systems.

• Can follow up and close the sale

• A drive for providing responsive, professional service.
