About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years preferred License: Compact license accepted Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - 2 years of experience preferred - BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS certifications Description: ER Night position available. Options for 36 or 48 hours per week. First-time travelers are welcome. Every other weekend is required. Candidate must have charge experience preferred. Patient ratios are 5:1. Previous experience with Epic charting system preferred. Community hospital experience is preferred. Candidates with trauma level I and II experience preferred will be prioritized. Arterial line management and blood product administration experience required. Care of ventilated patients is essential. Must demonstrate knowledge of IV vasopressors and procedural sedation. Experience with various patient age groups is necessary, including neonates and geriatrics. Candidates must be capable of managing dysrhythmias and interpreting arterial blood gases. Floating to similar units may be expected based on facility needs. Candidates must comply with any required labs within 48 business hours of the contract signing.
