About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief of International Operations to spearhead its global activities and lead the organization into a new phase of growth, innovation, and impact. This transformative leadership role demands a strategic thinker with a strong background in national security, diplomacy, philanthropy, and entrepreneurship. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a bold global strategy, institutionalizing the capability to identify and scale high-impact opportunities, and driving growth through new partnerships and geographic presences. Key responsibilities also include providing strategic oversight of all global operations, ensuring effective international communications, and managing enterprise risk. The role requires a deep understanding of the U.S. national security ecosystem and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders across various government and strategic partner entities. Applicants for the Chief of International Operations position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) in a relevant field, with at least 15 years of executive leadership experience in international operations, national security, foreign affairs, or a related area. The role demands a proven track record in developing and executing enterprise strategy, as well as in building and transforming organizations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial and operational management, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders. A high level of international travel, including to austere or higher-risk environments, is expected. The Chief of International Operations will be instrumental in deepening national security partnerships, increasing visibility, and donor confidence, and fostering a high-performance culture within the organization.
