Location: Carmel, Westfield, and Noblesville, IN. Position Description Provide ultrasound diagnostic services as directed by physicians, including scheduling, patient care during procedures, and communication with patients. Responsibilities Perform routine and diagnostic ultrasound images. Interact with physicians and other technical staff to provide quality, safe and efficient care for the patient. Follow guidelines for probe handling and infection control. Follow examination protocols under the guidance of the physicians on duty. Explain procedures to assure cooperation and optimum test results. Position patients, select appropriate transducers and machine settings. Conduct scanning procedures. Ensure maintenance on ultrasound equipment. Order and stock all ultrasound supplies. Maintain all ultrasound records, reports and files. Demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness in handling all customer interactions. Perform all other duties as may be assigned from time‑to‑time. Qualifications Education: Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two‑year college/technical school. Experience: Three to four years of directly related experience is accepted in lieu of an Associate's Degree at the discretion of the practice; an additional 1 to 2 years of related/applicable experience may also be considered. Licensure/Certification: Current ARDMS certification or eligibility; current CPR certification. Employment Requirements Promote a positive and professional image of Axia Women's Health.
