Job Opportunity: General Orthopedic Surgeon
Our organization is a physician-led multispecialty group with over 650 providers, currently looking for a full-time general orthopedic surgeon to become part of a thriving orthopedic practice located in Fruitland, Idaho. This dynamic team is bolstered by two Orthopedic Sports Medicine specialists and three Advanced Practice Providers.
Typical ScheduleThe standard workweek runs from Monday to Friday, encompassing a minimum of 32 hours dedicated to patient interactions, in addition to performing procedures, rounding, consultations, and participating in General Orthopedic Emergency Department call.
Support ServicesOur hospital offers comprehensive imaging services, featuring:
- A 24/7 radiology department with in-house coverage for general radiology and CT scans
- After-hours support for ultrasound and nuclear medicine
- MRI services
- A Comprehensive Breast Center
- Digital Radiography (DR) image capture technology
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Successful completion of an accredited residency program
- Board certification through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS) or eligibility to obtain it within three years
- Ability to secure medical licensure in Idaho and Oregon, along with privileges at SAMC-Ontario and SAMC-Nampa
- Valid controlled substance registration with the Board of Pharmacy and DEA
- Willingness to participate in general orthopedic call
