Here, you will find a supportive infrastructure equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and resources to enhance patient outcomes. Our interdisciplinary team values collaboration. You will share a workspace with physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, collectively focused on the holistic recovery of our residents.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough assessments of resident capabilities and challenges to inform the development of personalized treatment strategies.Design tailored therapy programs focused on enhancing strength, mobility, and functional independence, ensuring that residents' unique needs are met.Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy techniques and exercise regimens, to address specific physical impairments and promote recovery.Regularly monitor and document residents' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize efficacy and support rehabilitation goals.Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create cohesive care plans, participating actively in case discussions and contributing to comprehensive resident care.Educate residents and their families on effective home exercise strategies and wellness practices to extend rehabilitation benefits beyond clinical settings.Ensure adherence to all applicable state and federal regulations, as well as maintain the highest professional standards of practice.Patient Population / Client FocusThe residents at our Rehabilitation Center primarily consist of elderly individuals, often dealing with recovery from surgeries, degenerative conditions, or traumatic injuries. The focus is on not only restoring physical function but also enhancing overall quality of life. Our team is dedicated to creating a compassionate and empowering environment, acknowledging each person's unique background and circumstances.QualificationsActive licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; Master's or Doctorate is preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills conducive to building trusting relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.Demonstrated organizational skills to manage several cases simultaneously while maintaining quality care.Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated with advancements in therapeutic techniques.Preferred ExperiencePrior experience working in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting, particularly with geriatric populations, is highly desirable.Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation protocols is a plus.Experience in developing and implementing outcome-based therapy programs that enhance patient engagement and recovery success.Compensation and BenefitsThis position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
