About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 16 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required. License: GA or Compact license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC. Must-Have: Experience with ventilated patients, continuous IV sedation, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, and triage. Description: The Emergency Department is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for night shifts. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to a diverse population, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily census averages around 250 patients, with a 59-bed capacity. The unit participates in interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Special procedures and competencies required include level 3 trauma care and primary stroke care. Candidates should be comfortable with rapid response teams and various patient diagnoses including CHF and STEMI. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend, with no on-call duties. Travelers are expected to work major holidays as specified in the policy. Full compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary to ensure a timely start.
