Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 1-2 years of experience and neonatal/pediatric background.

Details

• Respiratory Therapy unit in a 217-bed acute care facility, Trauma Level VI
• Patient population includes geriatric, adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
• Uses V-60/VOCSN/Hamilton ventilators, Vapotherm, and Airvo2 equipment
• Meditech EHR system
• Day shift hours from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No call or floating requirements

Requirements

• NBRC certification as CRT or RRT required (license required if applicable)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Associate Degree in Respiratory Care required
• 1-2+ years of respiratory therapy experience required
• Neonatal and pediatric experience required
• Experience with patient assessment and implementing treatments and therapies
• Experience attending high-risk deliveries
• Experience implementing and managing invasive and non-invasive respiratory equipment
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient assessment, implementing treatments and therapies, and managing invasive and non-invasive respiratory equipment
• Pediatric and neonatal experience preferred
• Must be 60 miles or greater from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
• Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at the local rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
