This role involves assisting with quality patient care and managing administrative tasks . It may require occasional floating to other clinics based on staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare correspondence, reports, and confidential materials with independent judgment.
• Schedule patient appointments, provide follow-up, and reminder calls.
• Assist with clinical tasks such as rooming patients, taking vital signs, and performing screening questions.
• Provide basic patient care and administer approved medications under supervision.
• Collect and report data, document findings, and note abnormalities in medical records.
• May serve as a preceptor for training new staff, float staff, and students.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
• CPR certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems and electronic medical records.

Experience & Physical Requirements

• Five years of experience in vital signs and basic clinical procedures in lieu of formal training, preferred.
• Pediatric experience is a plus.
• Must meet physical demands including lifting, bending, and exposure to biohazards, with occasional and frequent physical activities listed.
