Join a collaborative team where your decisions will directly shape the trajectory of both growing businesses.Benefits & CompensationBase salary of $180,000 to $200,000Comprehensive health benefits packageDirect collaboration with executive leadership and ownershipOpportunities for advancement and broad cross-industry impactRequirements & QualificationsPrior experience as VP of Finance, Director of Finance, CFO, or similar senior finance leadership in a privately held, multi-entity environmentDemonstrated expertise guiding strategic finance decisions, capital allocation, and growth analysisIn-depth background in grocery, supermarket, retail, wholesale, food distribution, or other high-volume operational businessesExperience with real estate owner/operator, developer, family office, or commercial lending is highly valuedStrong Excel and financial modeling skills, with proficiency in building and interpreting cash flow forecastsProven track record working across multiple entities and coordinating with Controllers, accounting teams, and outside advisorsAbility to clearly communicate complex financial information with ownership, banks, and lendersPreferred Background & SkillsCPA, MBA, or experience in public accounting, banking, or lending, paired with hands-on private company expertiseFamiliarity with both supermarket/retail financials and real estate portfolio analysisExperience preparing decision memos that outline risks, upsides, and strategic recommendationsDay-to-Day ResponsibilitiesAdvise ownership on optimal allocation of cash, credit, debt, and equity across supermarket and real estate venturesEvaluate acquisitions, refinancing, capex, debt structure, and liquidity decisions for multiple entitiesAnalyze new store openings, lease vs. own scenarios, and store-level profitability to drive growthSupport real estate acquisition and disposition decisions, including mortgage structuring and property cash flow analysisBuild dynamic financial models, cash flow forecasts, and dashboards to accelerate executive decision-makingCollaborate with Controllers and accounting staff to elevate reporting quality and financial controls without duplicating their workRepresent the company in discussions with banks, lenders, external CPAs, and attorneysIf you are driven by strategic finance and want to make a tangible impact as a trusted advisor to ownership, this is a rare opportunity to lead financial decisions for a growing, respected organization.
