Local Contract Nurse RN - Med Surg - $59-64 per hour

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg for a local contract nursing job in Wichita, Kansas.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: Med Surg
• Discipline: RN
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, days, nights
• Employment Type: Local Contract

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital Med/Surg experience
• BLS 

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• CRRN Certification
• Knowledge of Quality Indicator scoring in post-acute setting
• Telemetry patients/must pass Airstrip telemetry competency
• ACLS 

List typical procedures performed on unit(s): 

• Assist in rehabilitation care plan established by interdisciplinary team
• Lab draws, IV antibiotics, IV meds as needed, blood administration as needed, head to toe assessments

• 36 guaranteed hours a week and RTO upon request • Potential Overtime hours • 13 week contract, book directly with facility • Potential to extend contract with facility • Potential hourly incentives for specific specialties • 401k & Discounted stock purchase options
