Job DescriptionAt General Motors, we are building the next generation of software-defined, connected vehicles, where wireless performance is central to the customer experience.About the RoleWe are seeking a Staff Technical Product Engineer, RF Connectivity to own the end-to-end delivery of antenna systems across vehicle platforms. This role operates at the intersection of hardware engineering, system integration, and product execution, requiring both deep technical judgment and strong product ownership.You will act as the single-threaded owner responsible for driving antenna systems from concept through production, making critical trade-offs, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring the final product meets performance, cost, and quality expectations.What You’ll DoOwn Product OutcomesOwn end-to-end delivery of antenna systems across multiple vehicle programsDrive decisions across performance, cost, weight, quality, and timingIdentify risks early and take ownership of mitigation strategiesDrive execution to meet program milestones, builds, and launch readinessLead reliability and EMC validation planning and executionDrive Cross-Functional AlignmentLead alignment across hardware, RF, mechanical, manufacturing, validation, and program teamsAct as the central point of accountability, ensuring teams are moving toward a unified product outcomeResolve ambiguity and unblock teams to maintain forward progressDrive decisions in the absence of complete dataDrive DV/PV execution, validation readiness, and production approvalOwn supplier deliverables across DVP&R, DFMEA, PFMEA, and quality documentationEnsure readiness for key milestones, including builds, validation, and launchManufacturing & LaunchOwn manufacturing readiness, including SMT processes, line bring-up, and EOL testing planningDrive resolution of build issues and ensure scalable productionSupport on-site builds at suppliers and assembly plantsWhat You Bring8+ years of experience delivering hardware products from concept to productionStrong cross functional technical background in RF, reliability testing, PLM, mechanical related domainsProven ability to own complex products and drive outcomes across teamsExperience operating in ambiguous environments and making high-impact decisionsStrong communication skills with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical stakeholdersIdentify risks early and drive mitigation across teamsQuality and validation artifactsDrive issue resolution across suppliers, manufacturing, and integration teamsPartner with internal design teams to guide product development decisionsCompensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position, as well as geography of the selected candidate. • The salary range for this role is 134,700 and 207,600. This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the selected candidate is expected to report to a specific location at least 3 times a week {or other frequency dictated by their manager}.
