A leading manufacturer in the flexible packaging industry is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Sales (Flexible Packaging) based in Dallas, Texas to lead a growing commercial organization.

Description

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales professionals.
• Execute sales strategies that support company growth objectives.
• Drive revenue growth through new business development and expansion of existing customer relationships.
• Manage key accounts, contract negotiations, and strategic commercial initiatives.
• Own forecasting, pipeline management, and sales performance metrics.
• Partner closely with Operations, Customer Service, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
• Develop and implement pricing strategies that support profitability goals.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities.
• Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of B2B sales experience within flexible packaging, films, converting, plastics, industrial manufacturing, or a related industry.
• Proven success leading and developing sales teams.
• Strong track record of driving revenue growth and managing strategic accounts.
• Experience with forecasting, pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and pipeline management.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple business functions.
• Knowledge of flexible films, extrusion, laminating, printing, converting, or related packaging technologies is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Dallas, Texas based.
