On-Site ASL Interpreters (American Sign Language)

We are hiring On-Site ASL Interpreters (American Sign Language) in Florida to provide accurate, in-person consecutive interpretation in medical environments. This crucial role facilitates seamless communication between English-speaking healthcare professionals and ASL patients to ensure effective, high-quality patient care.

Contract Responsibilities:

• Provides On-Site consecutive interpretation.
• Follows all Kreato Global policies and procedures related to information confidentiality and interpreter ethics.
• Maintains strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA, and/or regulatory requirements, policies, and standards.
• Establishes and maintains quality service and positive interaction with all patients, customers, visitors, health care providers, and clinical employees.
• Continuously improves vocabulary and specialized subject matter knowledge.

Requirements:

• Submission of an updated resume.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to provide documentation of updated vaccinations to include but not limited to (dependent on location, federal and local regulations, and business policies for healthcare and others): TB, MMR, Varicella, Hep B (or declination), TDAP, Seasonal Influenza (Flu), and Covid.
• Successful completion of a drug test and Background Check & Security Screen.
• A signed commitment to confidentiality, adherence to ethics, and HIPAA compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of interpreting experience.
• Knowledge of Kreato Global's evaluation process conforming to interpreting standards defined by NCIHC, IMIA, and CHIA.
