Overview Courier/Non-DOT-2 role at Federal Express Corporation. Driver/operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions. Drives vehicles not regulated by section 391 of the FMCSA. Performs other duties as assigned. Responsibilities Drive and operate company vehicles and deliver/pick up packages with courteous, efficient service. Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service features and perform related customer service functions. Perform other duties as assigned. Work Schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Qualifications Minimum Education: High School Diploma/GED. Minimum Experience: None. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to lift 50 lbs; ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance; good human relations and communication skills; must be at least 21 years of age; ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance. Job Conditions Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Neat appearance required due to customer contact. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned. Preferred Qualifications Must be 21 or older and have had a valid driver's license for the previous one-year period. Pay Transparency Pay: Starting Rate: $21.05/Hour.
