Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Florissant, MO

This contract role offers the chance to make a lasting impact as a School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF) with supervision, delivering a range of services to students in multiple school buildings within a close geographic area-ensuring minimal travel.


For the coming school year, you'll collaborate with educational professionals and families to develop and implement individualized support strategies. With diverse age groups and caseloads-ranging from early learners to elementary-aged students-you'll harness your expertise to support students at pivotal developmental stages.


What You'll Bring:

• Active Missouri professional license in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CF or SLP-CCC)
• Experience or strong interest in a school-based setting supporting children and adolescents
• Familiarity with IEP management, assessment, and therapeutic interventions tailored to student needs
• Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and adaptability
• Successful completion of required credentialing steps, including fingerprinting and drug screening

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students' speech, language, and communication skills using evidence-based tools
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student's unique needs
• Provide direct therapy and consultation across varying age groups
• Document progress, maintain timely records, and collaborate with parents, teachers, and staff
• Support multiple schools within a condensed region-allowing for comprehensive growth and experience

The contract runs from late August 2026 through late May 2027 (dates subject to campus adjustments) at 37.5 hours per week. Candidates may undergo a brief prescreen interview, with flexible scheduling options for your convenience.
