Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students’ growth and development as a Physical Therapist in a dynamic educational setting. This full-time, onsite contract position is set near Puyallup, WA, running from ASAP through June 23, 2027. You’ll collaborate with Early Learning Center staff and serve students at two additional schools, making a direct impact in their educational journey.
Qualifications & Experience
- Valid Washington State Physical Therapist (PT) license required
- Must be fingerprinted through OSPI prior to assignment
- Experience with or a passion for working in school-based or pediatric settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload across multiple sites
- Commitment to fostering student independence and physical development
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to students ages Pre-K and up in accordance with IEP/504 plans
- Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans
- Consult with educators, families, and staff to integrate therapy into the school environment
- Travel between the Early Learning Center and two additional school sites
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all services provided
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, updating goals as needed
