ARDMS Sonographer Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic cardiac echocardiography procedures using appropriate techniques and protocols.
• Operate equipment in line with registry standards, ensuring quality imaging results.
• Coordinate patient flow and assist in managing activities within the Cardiopulmonary Department.
• Exercise sound professional judgment in the care and maintenance of echocardiography equipment.
• Potentially perform other cardiology procedures as needed, depending on departmental requirements.
• On-call responsibilities may be required.

ARDMS Sonographer Qualifications:

• Education: Associate's degree from an accredited Ultrasound / Sonography program.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer credentialed by either Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
  • CPR Certification required.
