Labor and Delivery (L&D) - Registered Nurse - Travel

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours Guaranteed per Week | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Labor and Delivery unit throughout a 13-week travel assignment
• Work night shift 12-hour schedules with 6 shifts required per 6-week scheduling period on weekends
• Float within the Women's service line as required; optional float to the broader facility as a sitter or resource nurse
• Successfully complete and pass an Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) course proctored by the unit prior to starting
• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with unit protocols and standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Must pass the unit-proctored EFM course prior to start date (failure to pass disqualifies candidate from starting; retesting not permitted for 6 months)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume Labor and Delivery setting
• Familiarity with Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) practices and interpretation
