Program Manager Right At School provides local school districts before and after school extended day programs with a focus on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students. Program Details Position starts in the 2026-2027 school year. Pay rate: $19.00–$23.00 based on education and experience. Hours: Monday–Friday 6:45 am–9:00 am and 3:00 pm–6:00 pm. Location: “home base” with potential travel to other schools in the district. Key Responsibilities Safety & Joy: Model safety and joy standards, maintain site documentation, licensing, and attendance protocols. Coach staff to promote respectful relationships and address challenges promptly. Safety Assurance: Consistently support and report on safety protocols to ensure the well‑being of all participants. Effective Communication: Engage with families, partners, peers, and children. Respond to emails/texts during program hours, collaborate with the Area Manager, and support program goal implementation. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate student check‑in/check‑out records. Ensure “name to face” attendance per company policy. Daily Routine: Implement daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum while providing a safe and engaging environment. Ideal Candidate Qualifications Experience handling competing priorities and delivering quality service to all stakeholders. Experience working with children, including understanding unique and special needs. Coursework or training in child development and/or related field. Strong communication skills—oral, written, visual—with adults and children. Professional standards when interacting with students, parents, staff, and community. Familiarity with Google technology or willingness to learn. Proof of MMR vaccination. Ohio State & Position Requirements Meet all Ohio licensing and employment requirements, including state-specific criteria for school‑age child care programs. Pass background checks and comply with DCY regulations. Must be 18 years old or older. Current First Aid and CPR certification (in‑person) or ability to obtain. Maintain a completed JFS 01296 Medical Statement of Child Care Staff, including TB screening and immunization status (MMR). High school diploma or GED required. One of the following qualifications from an accredited institution: Associate’s degree or higher in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or related field; or equivalent coursework; or a recognized credential (CDA, Pre‑K Association Certificate, Montessori Pre‑Primary, Career Pathways Level 3, CPL 2 with 2 years licensed childcare experience, CPL 1 with 2 years licensed childcare experience and ability to achieve CPL 2 within 12 months, Administrator Credential).
