Registered Nurse - Correctional Health

Requirements
- Licensed/registered to practice nursing in the state
- Minimum of 1 year post-licensure nursing experience
- Current BLS certification

Roles & Responsibilities
- Administer medications and handle controlled substances, including inventory maintenance.
- Assess and monitor youth health status and develop nursing intervention plans.
- Ensure nursing interventions are consistent with treatment plans and regulatory standards.
- Maintain infection control standards and complete necessary clinical and administrative documentation.
- Engage in staff training and collaborate as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.

Compliance / Notes
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical exemptions only).
- Documentation required at the time of submittal.
- Accepts first-time and local travelers; returning staff must be away for two years before reapplying.
