Medical Receptionist – Pediatric Practice Locations: Chantilly & Reston, VA Position: Full-Time Medical Receptionist (Float between both offices as needed) Schedule: Four 9.5-hour weekdays (6:45 AM – 5:00 PM) plus rotating half-day Saturdays (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM) Every day in pediatrics is different—and every day is an opportunity to make a child and parent feel welcome. Your day will include: Greeting patients and families with warmth, professionalism, and compassion Checking patients in and out while maintaining accuracy and efficiency Answering a high volume of incoming phone calls with confidence and excellent customer service Scheduling appointments using provider scheduling guidelines to maximize patient access Verifying insurance, updating patient demographics, and collecting copayments and balances Scanning and organizing medical records within our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system Supporting providers by ensuring patient information is complete before appointments Working closely with teammates to keep the office running smoothly during busy clinic days What We're Looking For Qualifications High school diploma or GED required (Associate degree preferred) At least one year of medical receptionist experience preferred Customer service experience preferred Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Practice Management software strongly preferred You'd Be a Great Fit If You...
