Tax Innovation - Solution Architecture - Director

Overview At PwC, our integration and platform architecture team designs and implements seamless integration solutions and robust platform architectures to enable efficient data flow and optimize technology infrastructure for clients. As a Director of Solution Architecture, you will design and implement innovative technology solutions to meet client business needs. You will analyze requirements, develop technical designs, translate vision into execution, set the tone for the team, and mentor the next generation of leaders. Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of innovative tax solution architectures. Maintain alignment of solutions with industry standards and client requirements. Foster a collaborative culture that encourages excellence and creativity. Set strategic direction for tax innovation initiatives. Oversee project execution and manage stakeholder relationships. Drive business transformation through impactful solution development. Mentor team members and cultivate their professional growth. Evaluate and enhance existing processes to improve productivity. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree. At least 10 years of experience in software development with at least 5 years in application architecture and solution architecture. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science. Demonstrated thought leadership in cloud‑ready architectures. Experience with infrastructure and platform cloud services for Azure, AWS, or GCP. Understanding of event‑driven and microservices architectures. Experience leading rapid‑prototyping efforts with new technologies. Managing integration, data, services, and deployment aspects. Effective communication with business and technical stakeholders. Designing technical architectures for large‑scale platforms. Developing applications with proficiency in scripting languages. Travel Travel required up to 20% of the time. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $150,000 - $438,000. Actual compensation will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
