Director of Major Gifts

Building and managing a growing portfolio of major and leadership gift donors, the full-time salaried Director of Major Gifts will focus on relationship development, proactive outreach, and securing significant gifts in a remote capacity. Key responsibilities Develop and execute individualized cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies for major gift donors Conduct proactive outreach to alumni and high-net-worth individuals to foster new relationships and advance existing ones Maintain accurate donor records and collaborate with team members to optimize donor engagement and fundraising efforts Required qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience Seven to ten years of progressively responsible fundraising experience, particularly with individual giving Proven track record of cultivating and closing significant gifts, including five- and six-figure commitments Experience using fundraising CRM systems, with a strong preference for Salesforce A genuine interest in international education and cultural exchange, aligning with the organization's mission
