Kenai Grace is in Kenai, Alaska, in the heart of the beautiful Kenai Peninsula. Originally established in January 1970 with the completion and dedication of the church building in 1977. The building has been maintained well. Sunday Worship attendance is approximately 40 people. Current services include: Sunday: Sunday School & Worship Service Wednesday evening Bible Study and Prayer Our desire is that the glory of God, as revealed in Jesus Christ through the illumination of the Holy Spirit, be known, enjoyed, and displayed by all people. The position also comes with a parsonage that is approximately 2,700 square feet. 3 bedrooms, 2 bath. Kenai Grace is financially sound with no debt. Responsibilities include Leading the church’s services through expository preaching and biblical teaching Further shepherding (hospital visits, intentional fellowship and discipling, and counseling) Be a baptized, born-again disciple of Jesus Christ with a clear call and dedication to pastoral ministry and have the heart of a shepherd. Be a man who believes in the power of prayer, has a strong personal prayer and devotional life, and who is pursuing righteousness and a godly life. Be willing and able to play a vital role in the work of an elder led congregation. Be theologically aligned with Kenai Grace and the Charis Commitment to Common Identity including Threefold Communion and Triune Immersion. Be a part of the mission team and worship team meetings Have a passionate desire to lead believers in their spiritual devotion to Christ and to see unbelievers come to Christ.
