Through high-quality early education, trauma-informed care, family support, and our statewide Playspace Program, Horizons reaches hundreds of children and families each year across the Commonwealth.We are seeking a creative, analytical, and mission-driven Digital Marketing Specialist who understands the digital landscape and how to leverage online tools and platforms to increase awareness, engagement, and fundraising performance.Summary of PositionThe Digital Marketing Specialist will implement and manage digital marketing campaigns across email, paid social media, Google Ads, SEO/SEM, and web platforms. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical and creative skills with a data-driven mindset and understands how digital engagement supports fundraising and organizational growth.The ideal candidate will bring experience in digital advertising, website management and optimization, analytics, email marketing, and emerging AI tools that improve campaign performance and operational efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute integrated digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, paid advertising, and web platformsSupport fundraising, donor engagement, event promotion, volunteer recruitment, and awareness campaignsImplement data-driven campaign strategies designed to improve engagement, reach, conversion, and ROIAssist with audience segmentation and digital outreach initiativesDevelop, manage, and optimize Google Ad campaigns, including Google GrantsExecute paid social media advertising campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn, and other relevant platformsMonitor campaign performance and optimize targeting, messaging, budgets, and conversion ratesConduct A/B testing to improve digital performance and fundraising outcomesMaintain and update website content, landing pages, and campaign materialsImprove website functionality, SEO performance, mobile responsiveness, and user experienceMonitor website analytics and recommend optimizations to increase traffic and engagementSupport digital accessibility and overall site performanceCreate compelling digital content including graphics, videos, social media posts, newsletters, and fundraising appealsManage email marketing campaigns and audience listsWrite clear, engaging, mission-driven copy across digital platformsMaintain content calendars and support campaign coordinationTrack and analyze digital performance metrics using Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and related toolsGenerate reports on engagement, conversions, audience growth, and fundraising performanceUse AI and automation tools to improve workflow efficiency, content optimization, and digital targetingConduct competitor and trend analysis to inform recommendations and improvements Starting salary range, compensation, and benefits $65,000-$67,000 is the starting salary range for this specialist role. Your starting salary will fall within that range depending on your competencies, experience, and skillset. Your total compensation package includes the following benefits: Health coverage options designed to be as comprehensive and affordable for you as possible, with Horizons covering between 70-75% of premiums (a value that ranges from an additional $10,000 –30,000 per year based on your enrollment choices).While you have a choice between an HMO and PPO plan for medical coverage, most employees pay $117.77 for individual, $235.54 for 2-person, or $370.44 for family coverage per biweekly paycheck and never pay more than $300 for individual or $600 for 2-person/family toward deductibles.Visit The Benefits of Working at Horizons for more details on the rest of our benefits packageWorkspaceThis is a 40-hour, full-time, onsite position, hybrid position. This position is 4 days onsite and 1 day work from home, with occasional evening/weekend events with notice. The work you will perform is largely sedentary, taking place at a desk or cubicle, in an office setting, working alongside others. There is a large staff room with indoor and outdoor space for breaks as well as a designated quiet room.
