Global Insights Senior Manager - Oncology

Amgen seeks a Senior Manager of Global Insights to generate strategic market intelligence across its oncology portfolio. The role involves leading insight initiatives, synthesizing research from multiple sources, and delivering recommendations that inform commercialization strategy and critical business decisions for priority brands and pipeline assets.
Responsibilities
- Lead integrated insight agendas across oncology brands, pipeline assets, and disease areas; identify high-value business questions and develop decision-focused insight plans
- Synthesize market research, competitive intelligence, and secondary data into strategic insights addressing business needs
- Plan, design, and lead primary market research with external agencies across various product lifecycle phases
- Develop deep expertise in oncology markets, customer needs, and business context to serve as trusted insights partner
- Communicate insights and recommendations to senior leadership to influence brand strategy and support critical go/no-go decisions
Requirements
- Doctorate degree and 2 years market research or analytics experience
- Master's degree and 4 years market research or analytics experience
- Bachelor's degree and 6 years market research or analytics experience
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and ability to influence key decisions
- Ability to rapidly build expertise in new business areas and navigate ambiguity
- Proven track record independently owning integrated insight agendas
- Experience synthesizing secondary analytics and primary research into strategic recommendations
