Overview
Registered Nurse – PACU travel assignment in Bangor, Maine. Start 09/28/2026 for 13 weeks. Earn $2,254–$2,384 per week with 40 guaranteed hours on the Day shift in a hospital PACU setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit under the supervision of the Unit Director and in accordance with the Maine Board of Nursing standards and hospital policies.
- Monitor patients in PACU, including vital signs, airway status, pain control, and readiness for transfer to the next care phase.
- Administer medications and interventions per policy, document care, and communicate effectively with anesthesia, surgeons, and perioperative teams.
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and emergency responsiveness; participate in shift handoffs and care coordination.
- Demonstrate teamwork and effective communication to support a fast-paced perioperative environment and multi-task as needed.

Requirements
- Education: ASN required; BSN preferred
- Licenses: Current Maine RN license or compact license
- Certifications: BLS current or within 30 days of hire; ACLS current or within 90 days of hire; PALS current within 1 year
- Experience: 1–3 years preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital PACU setting; strong communication and teamwork skills
